The Dartmoor Challenge Badge has been created in collaboration by Dartmoor National Park Authority, the Dartmoor Preservation Association, and the National Trust. Made up of six parts, it invites people to explore the many interesting elements that make up the unique Dartmoor landscape. The six themes are titled Natural Environment, Built Heritage, Myths and Legends, Working Dartmoor, Exploration, and Who Looks After Dartmoor.

Anyone is welcome to take part and earn a Dartmoor Challenge badge! Once you have completed at least 6 activities (one from each of the themes) then you are ready to order your very own badge to wear with pride. When ordering your badge, please also email us at info@dartmoorpreservation.co.uk and let us know which 6 activities you have chosen to do. Please include either photos from each activity or a short report on the activities completed, either written by yourself or someone else who has worked with you on the challenge.
