Pudsham Meadows

June 18, 2024 |

We recently hosted a very successful open day at Pudsham Meadows with some 30 visitors attending to marvel at the abundance of wildflowers. The same week saw our annual orchid survey, which helps to waymark the impact of our conservation efforts of these precious meadows throughout the year. The land was purchased in 2016 and plays host to many conservation workdays in an attempt to help reverse the decline of these species-rich hay meadows. Last week’s count found over 2000 native orchids and welcomed many new volunteers to take part in the day, thank you to everyone who helped.

Thank you to Adam Sparkes for the stunning photography.
